Aaron Gilman, CFA, CFP, has served as Chief Investment Officer at Independent Financial Partners since 2011, and joined Stirling Capital in 2026. He leads the firm’s investment strategy, asset allocation, and portfolio oversight. In his role, he helps to implement disciplined investment solutions designed to align portfolios with client objectives, risk tolerance, and long-term financial goals.
With deep experience in investment management, financial planning, and portfolio construction, Aaron has built his career at the intersection of markets, strategy, and innovation. At IFP, he has played a central role in shaping the firm’s asset management capabilities, including the development of quantitative investment models and proprietary technology solutions that support research, portfolio management, and advisor decision-making. He earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University of Florida, with a major in Finance and a minor in Real Estate. He is both a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) charterholder and a Certified Financial Planner (CFP).
